Mr Andy Lam

Andy is currently the Executive Director of Viriya Community Services, a social service organisation. He has been in practice for about 18 years. His areas of interest include the provision of casework services and clinical supervision, improving standards of practice through practice evaluation, and training and organisational development. He was previously a Senior Court Family Specialist with the Family Justice Courts, focusing on family dispute resolution work, extending from his strong belief in systemic principles. Prior to being elected as President of SAC, Andy contributed in various capacities in the association for more than 12 years.
Dr Jessica Leong

A/Prof Jessica Leong is an accomplished counsellor and psychotherapist. She currently serves as Director of the Flinders University – Executive Counselling and Training Academy (ECTA) programme in Singapore, where she leads initiatives in counselling education and professional development. She is also the Clinical and Academic Director, as well as Chief Executive Officer, of JC INTEGRA Consultancy Services, providing employee counselling services to organisations and professional training for multinational corporations, financial institutions, educational institutions, hospitals and government agencies. She is a Certified Clinical Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst and a full member of the Singapore Psychological Society.
Ms Xiao Li En

Li En is currently Assistant Director and Lead Counsellor at the University Counselling Centre, Nanyang Technological University. She has more than 16 years of experience working in the social service, education and health sectors as a practitioner, mentor and clinical supervisor. She has worked with people of various age groups facing challenges due to family conflicts, academic stress, mental health, special needs, trauma, financial difficulty and blood cancer.
Ms Cindy Loh
BSc(Psych) MSocSc(Counselling) RegCLR RegClinSup MMSAC
Cindy has been in counselling practice since 2009, working with distressed couples and families going through challenging life transitions. She obtained her first Degree in Psychology with the UK Open University and subsequently completed her Masters in Counselling with the University of South Australia. She is a Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist (ICEEFT, Asia-EFT) and has served on the sub-committees of the Counsellors’ Education Board and Membership since 2022.
She currently runs her own practice at New Page Counselling Centre and provides clinical supervision and training for various social service agencies.
Ms Diana Koh

Diana has been a registered member of SAC for more than 15 years, supporting individuals and families through diverse challenges in the community. She has provided casework services, facilitated groupwork, provided clinical supervision and conducted training programmes to elevate practice standards in her organisation.
Prior to joining the Executive Committee, she contributed as a Counsellors’ Education Board member from 2023 to 2026, strengthening programme quality and professional training.
Ms Jenny Giam

Jenny has over a decade of counselling experience across various social service settings, including family service centres, residential homes, government agencies, and mental health and education institutions. Her diverse roles have refined her counselling and case management skills. Beyond counselling, she has held leadership and management positions within clinical settings.
Besides serving SAC on various boards, Jenny also serves as an Auxiliary Counsellor with the Singapore Armed Forces Volunteer Corps and a Victim Care Officer with the Singapore Police Force.
Ms Hema Gurnani
MA(Counselling) GDip(Edu) Dip(Child Psy) RegCLR RegClinSup RSSP MMSAC
Hema is Co-founder and Director of AppleTree Counselling and has over two decades of clinical counselling experience in the social service sector. Prior to starting her own private practice, she headed a government-funded social service agency for over a decade.
As a systemic family therapist, she continues counselling local and expatriate pre-schoolers, children, youths and their families, and is passionate about supporting divorcing families, single parents and their children. As a clinical supervisor, university lecturer and mentor, her passion lies in grooming interns and buddying counsellors.
In her desire to continue raising the standard of Singapore’s counselling fraternity, Hema has served on the Community Counsellors Sub-Committee and the Counsellors’ Education Board, and over the past ten years has taken on roles as Member, Treasurer and Assistant Honorary Secretary within the Executive Committee.
Ms Lydia Lim (Chang)

Since 2005, Lydia has served on SAC’s Executive Committee for over 3 terms and is still actively making contributions today. She also has over 25 years of working with people across all ages as a Developmental Therapist, PEAKS Psychologist and Management Consultant. Her passion for integrating mental wellness in life, relationships, families and organisations has led to over 20 years of practice with psychometric profiling, coaching and training across corporate industries, educational institutions and broad development domains.
As a certified PEAKS Master Trainer, People Analytics Consultant and a Co-Founder & Chief Psychologist of GetConnected.SG, Lydia is a strong advocate for building stronger marriages, families and communities. Blissfully married for almost 20 years to Charis Lim, they believe in “walking the talk” with each other and their 2 teenagers.
Lydia’s clinical practice includes developmental interventions, marriage and family psychotherapy, parenting coaching, and counsellor clinical training and supervision. Since 2005 Lydia has served on SAC’s Executive Committee across more than three terms. Her corporate expertise include HR profiling, career coaching, people development, synergistic team deployment & development, strategic leadership
development, succession planning, and research & data-mining for organisations
and communities.

Dr Ng Da Xuan

Dr Ng is currently a full-time academic at James Cook University Singapore. He has more than 10 years of experience in the education sector in various capacities, including counsellor, supervisor, researcher and lecturer. He has served on the Research and Publication Sub-Committee since February 2023.
Mr Sam Roberts

As Founder and Director of Olive Branch Psychology and Counseling Services, Sam offers a wealth of experience and dedication to mental wellness. Whether in private or corporate settings, he is committed to holistic well-being, as well as guiding individuals and communities alike towards brighter futures. With a background in regional HR management rooted in leadership and counselling, he serves in various capacities showcasing a versatile skill set and a keen understanding of human dynamics. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in psychology.
At Olive Branch, Sam leads a team of counsellors offering services tailored to a diverse clientele including expatriates, children, teenagers, adults, couples and the elderly. He is also deeply interested in leveraging technology to enhance the delivery of mental health services.
Ms Au Hoi Ting

Hoi Ting has more than a decade of experience in the social service sector. With a dual Masters in Counselling and Social Work, she is committed to continuous learning and professional growth. Her current focus lies in family counselling and divorce support, alongside her supervision work. Using experiential approaches, she strives to enrich her practice with individuals and multi-stressed families, and is pursuing training in psychodrama. She has served on SAC Boards and Sub-Committees since 2016, and serves as a Victim Care Officer with the Singapore Police Force.
Furthermore, Hoi Ting is passionate about contributing to the well-being of children and youths, dedicating her time to volunteer work with non-profit organisations.
A/Prof Frederick Low

A/Prof Frederick is a counselling practitioner and educator with over 20 years of experience in the social service and education sectors in Singapore. He has held clinical leadership and management roles in social service agencies, most recently as Executive Director of Children’s Aid Society. In addition, he supports the work of Ministry-appointed Child Protection Specialist Centres as a member of the multidisciplinary case review teams. He is currently an Associate Professor of Counselling at James Cook University and maintains a small but active private practice.
Frederick has served the Association in many capacities since 2010, as Chair for the School and College Counsellors Sub-Committee, the Register of Counsellors Board and the Counsellors’ Education Board, Co-Chair for the Research and Publications Committee, and as Immediate Past President. He is a Registered Counsellor, Psychologist and Social Service Practitioner in Singapore, a Chartered Psychologist in the UK and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society.
Ms Angelina Hing
Managing Director, Integro Law Chambers LLC
Angelina is the Managing Director of Integro Law Chambers LLC and has extensive experience in the legal field. In the early years of her career, she was an established litigator, handling high-value corporate disputes. She was also an Attorney and Counsellor at Law in the courts of the State of New York.
From 2009 to 2016, Angelina was a District Judge of the Family Justice Courts, with a wealth of experience mediating complex issues relating to child custody, including international relocation and allegations of child abduction, as well as financial issues relating to divorce.
Angelina started Integro Law Chambers in 2016 to influence a change in how family law is practised in Singapore and minimise the negative impact of divorce on families. She aims to educate and encourage clients to resolve issues before starting any court proceedings, and as far as possible, to part amicably if the marriage cannot be salvaged. Where settlement is not possible, she represents clients zealously in the Family Justice Courts, the High Court and the Court of Appeal.
Angelina is also an accredited Principal Mediator with the Singapore Mediation Centre’s Family Panel and an appointed Adjudicator at the Financial Industry Disputes Resolution Centre (FIDREC). At an international level, she is a Certified Mediator with the Singapore International Mediation Institute (SIMI), and an accredited Mediator with the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR).
